Belly casting is a great way to memorialize your pregnancy. There are kits you can buy to do it yourself at home, or you can get help from a professional. You can be as artistic as you like. A belly casting is a great activity to include in a baby shower or blessingway.

Thanks to my friend Janelle for sharing these lovely photographs.
Our topic for today is “Wordless Wednesday.” We’d love to feature your photographs or artwork. Just email us picture files and any credits you’d like to include. We primarily feature topics related to pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding, but send along anything that moves you. If you send someone else’s work, just make sure to get permission first. Send them to us at babysteps@babystepsonline.net.
Thanks!
Something both Laura and I enjoy is knitting. We started around the same time and have been knitting for about 18 months. I LOVE to knit. It’s something I always wanted to learn and I’m so glad I did.
One of the first things people ask me – after ‘what are you making?’ – is ‘how did you learn to knit?’ The answer is http://www.knittinghelp.com/. The videos on here are great! Very easy to understand and follow. They have videos for two methods of knitting, tips & tricks, and even how to fix mistakes. If you are even a little interested in learning to knit, grab some sticks and check out this website!
You can also find us on Ravelry. I’m LilyMama and Laura is SBG.
